Klay Knob Farms!
Klay Knob Farms is located in Southeast Iowa. We raise quality Suffolks and Boers.
Klay Knob Farms has been raising Suffolks since 1997. During that time, we have been striving for structurally correct, low-maintenance, high-producing, hardy stock with thickness, muscle, and great eye appeal that you feel comfortable adding to your flock. We have been taking advantage of technology and selecting rams to lead our flock based on adj. wean rates, and REA & BF scan data.
We have added a Boer herd to this. What started out as a fun project for the kids, has now become a new venture for our farm. We are working on implementing the same goals that we have for our Suffolks into the Boers. While we appreciate animals that can hold their own in the ring, our top priority is focusing on proven genetics that add to our farm goals, while be able to work in the barn first!
